Located facing the sea on El Médano beach, Hotel Riu Santa Fe is a mega-resort with more than 1,000 rooms designed for entertainment in capital letters. Following its recent renovation, the complex has maximized its leisure offering, becoming the epicenter of fun in Los Cabos.
The hotel is world-famous for its spectacular Riu Pool Parties (exclusive theme parties for adults with live DJs), as well as its Splash Water World water park. With multiple pools, swim-up bars, themed restaurants, and a 24-hour All-Inclusive service, it is a dynamic, young, and lively destination where activity is non-stop from morning to night.
The Project: Resistance and security for a high-voltage resort
Equipping a hotel of this magnitude and with this customer profile is an exciting challenge. In an environment where guests spend most of the day outside the room—enjoying pool parties, sliding down waterslides, or exploring downtown Cabo San Lucas—the interior equipment had to fulfill two primary functions:
Absolute, hassle-free security: The guest needs to go out and enjoy the pool parties with a completely clear mind, knowing that their documents, money, and electronic devices are shielded in their room.
Efficient refrigeration for the Baja California heat: After hours under the Mexican sun and a constant festive atmosphere, returning to the room and finding perfectly cold drinks is a basic necessity. A high-capacity equipment was required, powerful against high temperatures, but that would not generate annoying noises at bedtime.
